Country Park Resource Centre

The Country Park Resource Centre is a community facility, an office base for the Countryside team and a learning centre.  The facility provides supporting welfare accommodation for up to 40 people with refreshment facilities for office staff.

The flexible and versatile main classroom space has a glazed wall on the north and south elevations with views out to the countryside park.

A simple palette of predominantly timber materials will be used – each elevation to be clad with Western Red Cedar Shiplap boarding.  Windows and doors will be polyester powder coated aluminium and the pitched roof will be Corrugated Profile 13/3 Pvf2 coated steel sheet.

A simple yet robust community facility that would sit well within its countryside park setting.

These proposals received planning approval in June 2018.
